Me cago en la leche jodía. ¿Qué es mejor?¿ Scalped o Los Muertos Vivientes? Tantos años esperando una serie mainstream en condiciones y ahora, en la estantería de la librería, las nuevas entregas de ambas series. Afortunadamente, no hay que decidir: a la saca y a devorarlas nada más llegar a casa. El volumen de Kirkman y Adlard, inmenso, adaptando a Cormac McCarthy al universo zombie con una dureza implacable, consiguiendo momentos de esos en los que se te hace un nudo en el estómago. Por su parte, Aaron y Guera componen un crescendo alucinante, brutal, sin concesiones, de esos en los que uno se maldice por no poder leer más rápido, por no poder avanzar todavía más. ¡Qué final señoras y señores!, ¡Qué volumen!¡Qué dos series!…
Hace años, pero muchos años, que no me sentía enganchado a una serie. El mainstream había conseguido aburrirme y hastiarme. Sí, siempre ha habido series buenas, ahí está Brubaker, por ejemplo, pero esta sensación de esperar con ansiedad la siguiente entrega de la serie no la tenía desde hace lustros. Y estos cuatro señores, Kirkman, Adlard, Aaron y Guera me la han devuelto. Con creces y con mono del que duele.
